The second round of the Supersport World Championship concluded today at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimao, Portugal. It was a positive weekend for Jeremy Alcoba, who continues to establish himself as one of the protagonists of the category.
After finishing Race 1 in the Top 10 with a solid 9th place, the Spanish rider from the Kawasaki WorldSSP Team returned to the track today with great determination for Race 2. Starting from the fourth row, based on his time in the first race, Jeremy had an excellent start and quickly moved into the leading positions, remaining in the fight for the podium throughout all 17 laps of the race.
In the end, Alcoba secured a fantastic 6th position, collecting 10 valuable points for the overall standings, where he now occupies 7th place with a total of 34 points.
