Jorge Martin, rider of the Pramac Racing team supported by Accossato for several years, faced a challenging race at the Dutch Grand Prix. Starting from fifth position after a penalty in qualifying, Martin tried to limit the damage from a rainbow perspective. However, reigning world champion Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia dominated the entire weekend, winning both the Sprint Race and GP2. However, the Pramac rider is satisfied with his result.
“Difficult weekend since Friday, it started in a negative way but we managed to improve a lot since yesterday. We were close to Pecco, but there was nothing else to try. I did everything I could. For this weekend, second position is very good. I am happy with my first podium in Assen. We will try again here next season” - Jorge Martin
For teammate Franco Morbidelli, too, it was not an easy day. In fact, the rider who rides the Ducati GP24, had to deal with the lack of stability in the bike, especially in the faster sections of the circuit. The wind also did not help. However, he proved determined and focused, finishing the race in 10th place.
In the standings, Jorge Martin now has 10 points from second. Despite the challenge, the Spanish rider continues to fight for the lead in MotoGP 2024.
