Team Speed Racing won the championship of Spain in the Supersport 2024 category, using Accossato’s innovative radial master cylinders, CY021 and CY025. This result was achieved thanks to the incredible performance of the riders and the impeccable support of the team during all races of the season, with a special focus on brake performance.
The end of the Spanish Superbike Championship is imminent. Last weekend the sixth and penultimate round of ESBK was held at the Navarra circuit, where the Supersport Next Generation title was decided.
Thirty-eight points separated the teammates. Eric Fernández led the standings over Mauro González, who put off the #4’s victory until Sunday.
Bala had made it clear that he would win the championship in any condition, wet, dry or mixed, and he proved once again why he is the new champion by taking the win Saturday and adding his tenth gold of the season. Mauro finished eighth despite starting last due to a mechanical failure, and Mohammed could not finish the race due to a crash in the time trial.
On Sunday, Eric Fernandez was proclaimed Supersport NG champion, finishing fourth in the race and giving Jose Regaña’s team its fourth title;
Mauro finished ninth and will be looking to finish second in Jerez, culminating what would be Team Speed Racing’s best season ever. With little time to prepare, the riders will be back on track this weekend and we look forward to seeing you at the Jerez Circuit for the final show!
