Finished the two days of testing at Phillip Island, Friday the start of WorldSBK 2024.
In the first day Yari was the fastest in Supersport turning under the track record.
The last test before the start of the 2024 season is on file. The WorldSBK will be back on track on Friday, also at the Phillip Island track in Australia, for the official start of the championship.
Excellent sensations for Yari Montella who, riding his Ducati Panigale V2, was the fastest in both FP1 and FP2. In the second round the Campania rider set everyone with a time of 1’31.881, the fastest lap ever set in this category at Phillip Island. However, this is an unofficial record.

“It was a really good test. We started from a good setting and improved throughout the day, we are fast both on the dry lap and the race pace. Definitely everyone is going to improve over the course of the weekend so you have to stay focused. We will analyze the data to figure out how to be always so performant. I’m very happy, but it was still a test day.”
